Hi, my name is Teo
and I'm the new Senior Minister at PGM. For those of you who already
know me as a friend and fellow laborer I don't need an introduction.
But to those of you who would like to know me a little better I'll
give some of my history and my involvement with PGM.
I'm a Christian of over 30 years having grown up in the Church from my
youth up and at the age of 13 I made a solid committment to Jesus
Christ as my Lord and Saviour. My father, being a Bible teacher and
personally teaching me intently the things of God and Christ instilled
in me at a young age a deep committment to service, that being the
outward sign that you not only hear but do the things that you learn
from the Holy Scriptures. To study to show myself approved to God is
one thing I grasped early in life, not only studying His Word, but in
my conversations and in my deeds even when I was alone I was conscious
of God's eyes upon my life.
In my teens I was committed to being a Baptist Minister, but
distractions came, mostly in the form of my youthful wonder at being
worthy to that call. I still ministered to others, knowing that a
Minister is one that ministers to others not one that has a title on a
piece of paper. I've taught Bible studies like my father before me and
when the Internet and AOL made it's debut I was quick to recognize the
importance this tool was to the Christian Evangelical mission to save
the world through Jesus Christ.
I served in several chatrooms under other established Christian
Ministries and Churches, where many of you already know me from. Soon
after it's inception, when PGM had only about 50 people receiving the
PGM newsletter I arrived and began serving in the "JESUS ANSWERS
PRAYER" chatroom.
This was several years ago and since then I've served at PGM in many
capacities, from hosting the room to teaching other hosts how to host.
I've taught Bible classes in private chatrooms and was resposnsible
for answering many Bible questions asked in the chatroom. I've
preached sermons on Sundays, which I suggested that PGM should do
since it was portraying itself as an online Church to the internet
community and those having no home Church of their own. I also
suggested and developed PGM's first website and the PGM logo.
My father died in March 2000 in the Phillipines as a Baptist Bible
Teacher Missionary. This impacted my spiritual life somewhat, as if I
must grow or somehow take the reigns now that my dad was gone. In my
teens when I walked away from my opportunity to be a Minister of the
Gospel on paper I prayed and asked the Lord that if I was called to be
a Minister in that sense that He would call me and make me one
Himself. Through the years I recalled that request and discussed it
with God and asked Him if not by the age of 40 I wouldn't wonder about
it anymore.
Soon after my father's death and my soul searching I was questioned
about my serving as a Minister with PGM, and after a short internship
I was ordained the week of my own father's birthday. I turned 40 a few
months later.
Currently, besides being Senior Minister now at PGM I have been
serving in a Christian ministry for over a year called, "Teach Life".
It's also a chatroom on AOL in the Members Life section if you would
like to visit.
About my "Return" to PGM
Contrary to the understanding of some, I've never left PGM. Though I
was absent this was caused by some Church politicking and I had hoped
that things would settle down by my silence on the issues. I've been
silent for over a year. The evidence I'd like to present, not for
myself but for those others that may have been miligned, if that is
needed, is that 6 of the longtime Associate Ministers are not there
now also. They are serving in other Ministries.
To some of you my new position may seem debatable. My new position is
based on my not having resigned even though that option was offered to
PGM but was rejected by what was left of the Senior Staff at the time.
It was offered in an attempt to part peacebly and explain to my
friends, fellow laborers, and those that I've ministered to that I've
moved on to other opportunities.
The former Senior Minister has sent out letters of resignation and
also sent out letters announcing the closure of the Ministry. Having
not resigned myself, but left in limbo, this left me as the Senior
Minister.
Though the former Senior shortly returned, which gladened me because I
also had duties elsewhere and I was content to allow the former Senior
Minister to continue to host and adminster the room.
The Ministry has floundered lately, attendence has dropped off and
many nights the room is seldom open. It's my duty to those I serve,
The Lord Jesus Christ and His Church to bring the Ministry back into
focus and on track to winning souls for Christ.

Teo
